She was a professor of aeronautical materials in Birmingham, UK (the first female professor in the 103-year history of the Department of Materials at that time), and established the UK’s most advanced near-net shape and the world-famous Monash Additive Manufacturing Center.
He has undertaken more than 60 major international projects, including participating in or leading 13 EU projects, and trained 130 doctoral /post-doctoral students.
